Laser Controlled Area (LCA)
The treatment room you will be using the laser in will designated a Laser Controlled Area whilst the laser is in use.
(the room can be used for other purposes when the laser is not in session)
Certain requirements will need to be met to ensure you have a safe working environment and procedures in place, protecting both you and your client.
The Treatment Room should be prepared in terms of restricting access, provision of eye safety wear, closing blinds/curtains, covering reflecting surfaces etc
We provide written Local Rules and Risk Assessment documents for your studio or salon which were prepared for our equipment by Lasersafe Laser Protection Services.
The training provided with our lasers covers setting up your treatment room.
Plastic Safety Signage is included within the laser packages
